" This project offers a detailed story of the actions of an imaginary terrorist group known as the IBDA (International Brigades for the Destruction of Art), which is dedicated to spread terror in the world of art. Their actions range goes from kidnapping artists to the destruction of works of art or painting threatening graffities on museums walls. The objective of these actions is (as their name indicates) the destruction of the art system as it´s understood in modern society and the introduction of a new value system that promotes a new society. With this project I want to show an ironic view on such an sensitive issue as terrorism, using clichés and social conventions surrounding it, my intention is to make a charade about the legitimacy of violence and abuse of power in modern societies .
